This page is a placeholder. As plans for the anniversary year are agreed, details of celebration events, a history of the Lodge and ways for members and their guests to take part will be added here.
Our Warrant is dated 7th July 1777, issued by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Yorkshire and signed by Sir Thomas Tancred Bart, then Provincial Grand Master ‘for the County of York’. Two hundred and fifty years on, the Lodge continues to meet at the Masonic Hall on Duncombe Place, in the shadow of York Minster.
A milestone like this belongs to every Brother who has served the Lodge across two and a half centuries — and to those who will carry it forward into its next fifty years. Watch this page, and the News section on the homepage, for details as they are confirmed.
